This course is
designed to furnish EMTs and Paramedics with the information needed
to understand the issues involved in responding to Domestic
Violence. While pre-hospital providers are trained in patient
assessment and the care of physical illness and injuries, scenes of
Domestic Violence can include issues often outside a providers
clinical training. Examples include, scene safety, preservation of
evidence at a crime scene, documentation, and resources and
referrals for the victims of Domestic Violence. |
